Ryan Newman Came Off Salty
Some
people know that I am a die-hard Jeff Gordon fan. They also know that I have other drivers I
would root for. If you do not know, I
will give you a little run down. Of
course Jimmie Johnson is my second favorite driver. I am a fan of all of Hendrick Motorsports’
drivers. I am a fan of Tony Stewart as
well. I was a fan of the whole
Stewart-Haas organization up until some people did some things against drivers
I like. My point is that I like other
drivers other than Gordon and I do not like some drivers.
For
years, I have not been a fan of Ryan Newman.
Newman has done things on the track that really irk me. Last night after Newman was involved in a
wreck, he had the nerve to call out Stewart.
Newman said that Stewart was Bipolar and he has anger issues. Then he had the nerve to say that if people
look up Stewart on YouTube, you would see the things that he has done. And we all know what he was referring
too. Newman was acting like a salty ex
who was done wrong. A few years ago
Stewart dumped Newman for Kevin Harvick.
That sound a little harsh, but it really isn’t. He did gain someone who would win races,
contend for the wins, and contend for a championship. Harvick did win a championship during his
first year with Stewart-Haas.
Stewart
did right to dump Newman. He wasn’t
doing anything. I think that he won only
one race with them at Phoenix. He had no
business winning that race because Gordon did not choose the right lane. Newman has done things to other drivers on
the track as well. He always made it hard
for other drivers to pass him on the track.
I understand the racing hard, but Newman takes it beyond that at times. Newman got into it with Johnson a few
times. Gordon had a few run-ins with him
at times. Newman had his fair share with
Joey Logano. I will never forget that he
body slammed Kyle Larson to make it into the final round into the Chase a couple
of years ago. Plus last night he got
into Jeff Gordon, causing Gordon to get into Chase Elliott. And by the way, Alan Gustafson owes Gordon an
apology. He knows damn well that Gordon
did not intentionally try to get into Elliott.
Stewart
did mention that Newman already got into him three times before Stewart finally
got tired of Newman’s bullying. Newman
is a bully. That is what he does on the
track. And by the way, I find a few on
track incidents that Newman was involved in.
I guess Newman forgot that he was involved in a fight with David
Gilliland at Dover in 2013 after he wrecked Gilliland on the track. At Richmond in 2011, Newman gave Juan Montoya
a big bump, but Montoya did return the favor by taking out Newman. Newman has done a lot to other drivers. It is too much to write, but those are the
main ones. It seems to me that Newman is
the one who got bipolar.
Newman
should have had a civilized conversation with Stewart after the race, but he
chose to make an ass out of himself on national TV by pointing out someone else
flaws. Newman has flaws himself. Newman needs to take a look into the
mirror. While he talking that Stewart needs
to retire, he is the one in a situation who might not have a ride next
year. There are rumors going around that
Ty Dillon is going up into the Cup Series.
So, it seems like Newman might be the one who will be out. At least Stewart is going out on his own
terms. Newman cannot say the same. Last night, Newman was not just mad about
what happen in the race. It had built up
inside him how mad he truly was of Stewart getting rid of him a few years ago.
