It Has Been a While
Wow!!! It really has been a while since I had posted
anything on my blog. I have been so busy
in my personal life to blog. It has been
a busy few months. I just had so much going
on that kept me from blogging. I am
going to try my best to get back into it.
Blogging should be a stress release therapy. I just been too tired to blog once I am
finish with everything else, but I am going to try my best to blog more than I
have been in the past few months.
There has been so much going on
since I last updated my blog, but I do not want to talk so much under this
post. I will highlight some things that
I would like to discuss that I was too busy to blog about these last few
months.
I would like to say congrats to
Jimmie Johnson for winning the Homestead race 🏁 and winning his 7th championship 👍🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆. I was so excited. That was a wonderful moment for me to watch
on television. JJ made history and I was
so happy about that. This should be a
moment that people should never forget because something like this may never
happen again. It doesn’t matter if you
are a hater or a supporter. This may
never happen again in NASCAR history.
I’m so glad that I got to witness some of it. I did not watch the entire race. I miss the first half of the race because I
was too nervous to watch it. My mom made
me feel even more nervous about that situation, but I had a feeling that he
would win that day. I was hopeful, but
still a little nervous.
Jeff Gordon was there in the 48
pit stall. Where else would he be? He celebrated with them after the race. I’m always a happy person when I see my
favorite driver at the races on my television.
It was so good to see him there.
Some people forget that Gordon is part owner of the 48 car. I am referring to the haters of JJ. Some of the haters are mostly Gordon
fans. There are some of the fans who are
like me. Some of us cheer on JJ as well
because we are not ignorant like that.
Anyway, that should be saved for another time. I could write a whole page of the hatred for
JJ versus the love and respect for JJ.
There is some good news for us Gordon fans. He will be racing in the Rolex 24-hour race in January for Wayne Taylor Racing 👏👌😁😂. I have been waiting for this moment to happen again since Gordon last raced for them in January 2007. I guess that this has been 10 years in the making. I cannot believe that it has been that long since Gordon had raced in the Rolex 24-hour race. It doesn’t matter now because he will be racing in it next month. I will be ready to watch. I was still watching it every year anyway since then. I would stay up all night to watch it. I think I would get at least a couple of hours of sleep during that time of the year.

And on another note about my
favorite driver, he does have a book out.
And yes I did buy the book. I
haven’t really started reading it yet because I have been so busy. If you are a Gordon fan, you need to pick up
his book “Jeff Gordon His Dream, Drive & Destiny.” I cannot wait to read this book. I think that I will start this weekend I
hope. I’m ready to read it. I know that it is a really good book. I read all the good reviews by people that I
follow on Twitter. I can’t wait to read
it.
And I would like to mention one
more thing in this post since I am on the subject of racing, Dale Earnhardt Jr. I know the Dale Jr. fans are happy 😁 that he will be back racing in the NASCAR 2017 season. He has been cleared by his doctor so that he
can race again. It would be good to see
him behind the wheel again. I would also
like to mention that Tony Stewart had raced his last race of this season. Stewart is officially retired unless he end
up pulling a Gordon (I was happy to see Gordon back, but sad for Dale Jr.) to
come out of retirement to substitute for someone. We may not see him on the track, but he will
be at the track. Stewart is still an
owner.
I
think this is all I wanted to talk about.
I may not be a full-time NASCAR fan, but I will always be a full-time Jeff
Gordon fan and I will still keep up with the drivers I do like and sometime the
drivers I do not like (Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlinß I am being honest). I’m just putting it out there if some people don’t
already know that. I have drivers I do
not like as well, but the only difference is that I do not go out saying
hateful things about them like I have seen other people do. I’m done!
I guess until next time.
