The Allure Beauty Box for May

            I had received my Allure beauty box for May over a week ago.  If you do not know about the Allure beauty box, you can check it out here at https://beautybox.allure.com/?source=AMS_ALL_FRB_NEWSLETTER&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=ALB_Friendbuy_ReferralLP_Newsletter_mascara&utm_content=facebook&fbuy_ref_code=i2zer&utm_source=Friendbuy and now would definitely be a good time to join.  In next month’s box, there will be some Kat Von D beauty products.  I’m so looking forward to next month.  I love Kat Von D’s beauty products.  And if you are a Kat Von D fan, you should join now, so that you can get some of her beauty goodies.  If you decide to join, the first box will be $10.  So for instance if you join today, you will pay $10 for the May beauty box.  Then there after, you will be paying $15 plus tax per month. 

            I have been an Allure beauty box subscriber for almost a year.  I joined last year close to the end of June.  So, I think it is a pretty good 1 year anniversary to get some Kat Von D products next month.  You can expect to get about 6-7 products sometimes.  The products could be deluxe sample sizes or you can get some deluxe sample products and a full size product.  You never know sometimes.  If you stay on long enough, you will get a full size special gift for being a loyal member.  I received a Marc Jacobs Beauty highliner matte gel eye crayon in (earth) quake.  I’m so grateful for that product because I am a fan of these eyeliners by Marc Jacobs.  I will try to post my past Allure beauty boxes I have received so far in another blog post.

            I would also like to say that I like the mix of products I get every month.  You will get skincare, makeup, and hair care products in your box every month.  You could get fragrance or something for your nails in your beauty box once in a while.  I like that mix.  I am getting a mix of everything.  I like getting this type of subscription because I am trying out new products most of the time.  If I like the product, I can go buy the product in full size.  Plus you get a booklet with the products info and the promo codes of all the products in that month’s subscription so that you can save on buying the full size product.

            I think it is a good deal to have this subscription because you are paying $15 per month for a box filled with beauty products that is worth more than $50 a month.  I think this box is for people who like variety.  Now, I am going to talk about what is in my May beauty box.

            In this month’s beauty box, I had received 6 beauty products.  There are three skincare products, two haircare products, and one makeup product.  Skincare:  Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks, First Aid Beauty Hello Fab Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer, and St. Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Mousse.  Haircare:  Kenra Dry Oil Control Spray and L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin.  Makeup:  Cle Melting Lip Powder in Desert Rose.

            I am looking forward to trying out these products.  I will try my best to update this post when I have tried out the products.  I do have fun discovering new products that I haven’t tried or thought about trying before.  You will never know what will come along that you will like.  It could be something that could change your beauty routine.
