Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott has a Lot of Talent--->Duuuh!!!

Matt Kenseth may have won the race on Sunday, but it was a hard earned win.  Kenseth was not only trying to hold off Kyle Larson, he also had to hold off a hard charging rookie Chase Elliott.  Those last 30 laps were the best laps ever.  The last few laps were not the only exciting laps.  Throughout the race, there were some good moments of side-by-side racing.  It was some hard passing, but some good side-by-side racing.
I enjoyed watching Larson and Elliott trying to take the win from Kenseth.  They both had four fresh tires to Kenseth two fresh tires.  Kenseth had the fresh air that kept him ahead of them both.  If it wasn’t for the fresh air, Kenseth would not have won the race.  Larson was so much fun to watch on Sunday.  He tried his best to get Kenseth.  If only he gave Kenseth a little harder bump to make the pass.  A bump and run would have given Larson a shot at the win.  The race was so exciting between those three drivers that I was not able to sit down and watch the race.
Elliott was a huge surprise once again in the race.  But it should not have really been a big surprise because rookies do really well at Dover.  Even Ryan Blaney had a top-10 finish at Dover, but it adds to his top-10 finishes so far this year.  It was so good to see Elliott and Larson race each other so cleanly during the last few laps of the race.  Kenseth was lucky that it was Larson and not another driver.  Larson was racing Dover like he was dirt track racing.  That is the racing I have missed seeing out of Larson these last couple of years.  I thought maybe one time during the last few laps that maybe Elliott should have left Larson alone to let him try to beat Kenseth.  I always feel that the third place driver should let the second place driver try to race the leader hard instead of the third place racing the second place driver hard.  Let the second place driver take down the first place driver and then the third place driver can go and take them both.  And also when the second and third places are racing each other hard, the leader is getting away.
I have a feeling that Larson, Elliott, and Blaney will get their first win this year.  There are plenty of races left until the Chase.  And there are some good race tracks left.  Friday night and Saturday night will be the Sprint Showdown race and the Sprint All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  I think we will continue to see some good races all the way up to the Chase.  The race at Dover on Sunday was one of the best races of this season and one of the best Dover races that I have seen in a long time.
