What Are All the Complaints About --->Bristol?
All I am seeing are some of the fans
complaining about the racing and some of the empty stands during the race at
Bristol Motor Speedway. The race was good on Sunday in the Sprint Cup
Series. I would like to add that the Xfinity race was good on Saturday.
I was happy that Kyle Busch did not win.
I was also happy to see Kyle Larson give Busch a run at it, but Larson
did not win the race. It was Erik Jones who stole the win from both of
them. It was good to see an Xfinity driver get that win on Saturday.
I did like the racing between Larson and Busch because someone was
finally giving Busch a run for his money. It is about time. I have
been waiting for Jones and Daniel Suarez to do the same. I like the heat
races. It was so much fun to watch. I enjoyed it a lot. The
only people who will not like this format are the people who do not like
changes. It is in the Xfinity Series. At least they did not try it
in the Sprint Cup Series, yet. If they
did, I would not mind to see how it would do.
Now, lets talk about the race on Sunday in
the Sprint Cup Series. I enjoyed the race on Sunday. There were
probably too many cautions in the first half of the race for them to worry
about saving tires. It may have been a little hard to pass by some
drivers because the top was the preferred line. Trying to pass on the
bottom was not so good. Sometime a driver would try to pass on the
bottom, but was not able to complete the pass because the driver on the top
line had so much momentum. And anyway, that is the way Bristol is made.
The bottom lane used to be the preferred line at Bristol years ago before
the track was repaved. I think it really doesn't matter because one or
the other is what Bristol is supposed to be. I'm sorry Kyle Busch that
you do not like the new Bristol. Busch mentioned in an interview that he
does not like the new Bristol. If you are the good driver like most
people say you are, you will adapt to it just like everyone else have to.
Now, let me say something about the empty
seats at the race. Why do we must complain about this? Do other
fans complain about the empty seats that are in the NFL, MLB, or any other
sport? I do not care one way or another. I think some people prefer
to watch the races from home. I haven't been to a race yet. I don't
know if I want to, but I would rather watch it from home. I like to be
able to enjoy the race from home. I'm not missing out on much if I have
the television in front of me, and my computer on Twitter following the media
people such as Jeff Gluck, Bob Pockrass, Claire B. Lang, etc. I know that
I am able to see the whole track at a race. But I do like to watch and
listen to the announcers on my television. The race is good at home for
me as well. I love watching the races on my television. I know I complain about some things, but not
about every single little thing. The
empty seats are not anything to complain about.
If you are tired of seeing the empty seats, just go there to help fill
them out. There are plenty of different
reasons why people do not like to go to the races anymore. Just leave the empty seat issue alone.
